October 2022: Emma Riley created a fundraiser for Inclusion Body Myositis in memory of her Grandpa Barry. Emma and her supporters raised $3,310.
September 2022: Mal Brown and friends cycled from Prague to San Sebastian, raising $2457 to support research into neurological conditions.
March 2022: Kristie Bower raised $33,682 for the Perron Institute by running the 128 kilometre Cape to Cape track in Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park in under 24 hours.
August 2021: Professional surfer Felicity “Flick” Palmateer raised $14,300 for the Perron Institute in honour of her Mum, Pauline Burggraaf, who sadly passed away from frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Containers for Change

Containers for Change is our state wide recycling scheme that lets you cash in eligible containers for 10 cents each.

Make change for the Perron Institute by:

  • collecting containers at a one-off event – either your own event or a concert, festival or market. Get inspired using this handy checklist
  • make a donation using our scheme ID C10542896 when you return your containers to your nearest Refund Point. You can find your nearest refund point here.
