Palliative care staff are invited to a series of service provider workshops as part of an independent review of palliative care in WA. These workshops follow a consumer survey and literature review and are the final component of a project commissioned by the WA Department of Health.

This webinar is the second in a series of LIVE events that will provide updates and insights into neurological research currently underway at the Perron Institute.

Perron Institute Medical Director, Clinical Professor David Blacker, also a neurologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH), is one of Australia’s leading neurologists, and will be discussing the latest in stroke prevention and treatments with well-known local media presenter, Tina Altieri.

Are you considering honours in Neuroscience in 2021?
The Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science brings together neuroscience researchers from across all of the WA universities, providing an innovative and supportive environment for students to learn research skills under the supervision of experts in a range of fields including Neurotrauma, Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Neuroimmunology, Motor neuron disease, Neuro-genetics and Brain Plasticity.

You’re invited to register to attend the online webinar, which will feature insights from Clinical Professor Allan Kermode, regarding the latest MS research and treatments, as well as the opportunity for webinar viewers to participate in a Live Q&A session. Well-known Perth media identity, Tina Altieri will facilitate the discussion.
