Sandy Wilton

Neuromuscular disorders have been at the forefront of the Perron Institute’s research efforts for many years. Sandy Wilton – wife of the Perron Institute’s Director, Professor Steve Wilton – has played a critical role in strengthening and coordinating the links between the Perron Institute and the neuromuscular disease community in Western Australia and worldwide. As the Perron Institute’s Ambassador for Neuromuscular Disorders, Sandy continues to fulfil a vital function in facilitating links and cooperation between the Institute and patients, not-for-profit organisations, industry and research institutions and collaborators worldwide.
