Saumya Heendeniya is a PhD candidate in the Precision Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Research group, led by A/Prof Rakesh N. Veedu, working on mRNA therapeutics. Currently he is working on designing a therapeutic platform for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
