Dr Dev Nathani completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2011. He went on to complete his Master of Philosophy (Medicine) at the University of Sydney in 2019, evaluating the role of nerve biopsy in modern neurodiagnostics.
Growing up he found the discipline of Neurology fascinating and wanted to follow this path to serve the community. Dr Nathani spent two years as a research fellow at the Brain and Mind Centre in Sydney where one of his supervisors was Professor Matthew Kiernan, a world-leading expert in MND. There in the MND clinic, he saw the immense value of having a multidisciplinary care model for the management of MND patients.
Dr Nathani joined Perron Institute and Joondalup Health Campus in the Motor Neurone Disease Clinic in 2021, relocated from Canberra to replace Dr Rob Edis who retired at the end of 2020.
