TEAM ANDY’S EPIC SWIM FOR TELETHON RETURNS IN 2025

After phenomenal success in 2024, Team Andy’s Swim for Telethon is back – and bigger than ever! This year, Andy Donaldson will be joined by fellow Perth-based ultra-marathon swim star Josie Page, as they take on the full challenge together.

Meet The Champions
Andy Donaldson is a 3-time world record-holding swimmer from Perth, Western Australia. In 2023, he made history by becoming the first person to complete the Oceans Seven – the world’s seven most difficult channel swims – within a single year. He also holds the World Record for the Manhattan Island Swim (46km) and the British Record for the English Channel (33km). In 2024, Andy completed the world-first Epic Swim Maui, a 220km circumnavigation of Maui, Hawaii, to spotlight the urgent need for ocean conservation. He was also the solo winner of the 2021 Rottnest Channel Swim.

Josie Page is a powerhouse in the world of ultra-marathon swimming. Known for her grit, endurance, and tactical brilliance, she’s a two-time Port to Pub 25km Champion, a past winner of the Capri to Napoli Swim, and one of the fastest-ever swimmers in the Manhattan Island Swim (46km).

WHY WE SWIM

Proudly supported by the Perron Institute, Team Andy’s Swim for Telethon 2025 will raise funds for Telethon and critical Youth Mental Health Research. Mental illness remains one of the most pressing health challenges for young people globally. While various treatments exist, more than half of adolescents and young adults do not respond to current options.
Funds raised will support vital research at the Perron Institute, focused on investigating emerging alternative treatments with the potential to deliver long-term benefits to young people’s lives and improved outcomes in youth mental health. This is your chance to be part of something special. By joining us, you’re not just supporting an event, you’re becoming a part of a movement that champions youth mental health, community engagement and purpose-driven sport. Whether you donate, swim, sponsor, or spread the word your support makes a real difference.
