Meet The Champions
Andy Donaldson is a 3-time world record-holding swimmer from Perth, Western Australia. In 2023, he made history by becoming the first person to complete the Oceans Seven – the world’s seven most difficult channel swims – within a single year. He also holds the World Record for the Manhattan Island Swim (46km) and the British Record for the English Channel (33km). In 2024, Andy completed the world-first Epic Swim Maui, a 220km circumnavigation of Maui, Hawaii, to spotlight the urgent need for ocean conservation. He was also the solo winner of the 2021 Rottnest Channel Swim.
THE MAIN EVENT – SUNDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2025
Event Schedule:
- 6:00am – 11:00am: Swim 1 – Rottnest Island to Leighton Beach (20km)
- 11:00am – 12:00pm: Run – Leighton Beach to Mosman Bay (joined by WA Premier Roger Cook and AFL legend David Mundy)
- 12:00pm – 3:00pm: Swim 2 – Mosman Bay to Elizabeth Quay
