Research group
Dr Jun Yuan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Bone and Brain Axis Research Group. His project is aiming to determine the relevance between one of bone-derived proteins, sclerostin, and the progression of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and move forward to investigate the underlying molecular mechanisms in terms of neurogenesis, neuron morphology, neuron function. His findings have demonstrated the potential crosstalk of bone with brain. His research is meaningful in unveiling the associations between degenerative disorders, and importantly, helping people get to know the significance of keeping body health as a whole.
