Neurotrauma Research Program becomes part of the Perron Institute
Commencing Monday 12th February 2018, the Neurotrauma Research Program (NRP) will become part of the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science.
The Perron Institute’s research focus on neurological conditions aligns strongly with the NRP’s mission of supporting projects that study ways to avoid nervous system trauma; explore mechanisms to minimise nerve damage; and develop therapies to restore normal neural function.
Neurotrauma research grant applications are also now open. These grants are funded by the Insurance Commission of Western Australia for research projects aimed at improving the rehabilitation of people with catastrophic brain or spinal cord injuries. Read more
