Research groups
Maitri is a PhD candidate in the Brain Plasticity and Stroke Research Group at Perron Institute and UWA. Her project aims to understand various modulators of plasticity during the “critical period” of neurodevelopment and how drug therapy and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques can affect these processes to enhance/prolong plasticity to have long-term benefits. With her research, she hopes to understand and identify treatments for neurodevelopmental disorders and paediatric and adult brain injury.
