Research group
Dr Yong Hao Ng is from the National University of Singapore and a registered social worker who has worked with individuals and families facing various forms of loss and grief before entering academia. His research interests focus on compassionate communities and death and grief literacies. He investigates how these themes intersect with community development, human services, and systemic issues to improve support for those navigating loss. Yong Hao did his postdoctoral research training in 2025 at Perron Institute palliative care group in compassionate communities and bereavement support.
