Research group
Delin Liu is a PhD candidate in Bone and Brain Axis Group at Perron Institute and UWA. His project aims to identify the role of a subset of astrocytes that express osteocyte marker in regulating blood-brain barrier through mitochondrial transfer. With his research, he hopes to provide new insights and therapeutic strategies into the cellular framework that underpins progressive breakdown of BBB associated with aging and disease in a mitochondria-targeting manner.
