Perron Institute’s Multiple Sclerosis Clinics provide comprehensive services for the accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neuroimmunological disorders of the central nervous system (CNS).
Four MS Clinics operate per week and link comprehensive assessments and clinical management with research project participation including clinical drug trials. These clinics are the only dedicated MS Clinics in WA and are supported by several highly experienced Consultant Neurologists in addition to nursing staff from the Institute, including Dee Menzies, MS Specialist Nurse and Petrina Keating, MS Specialist Research Nurse as well as Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) and external agencies including MSWA. All patients receive individualised treatment plans and referrals where required.
