Perron Institute Medical Director, Clinical Professor David Blacker, also a neurologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH), is one of Australia’s leading neurologists, and will be discussing the latest in stroke prevention and treatments with well-known local media presenter, Tina Altieri.
Professor Blacker runs a stroke clinic at the Institute, providing a comprehensive and ongoing service for people who have suffered a stroke. During this special event he will be sharing his expertise as well as insights into new treatments being developed in this area.
