SWAN – WA Symposium of Neuroscience
This year, SWAN – the WA Symposium of Neuroscience is being held on Thursday 12th of September at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Nedlands.
Registrations and abstract submission are now open. Abstract submission is required by 15th of August, and registration closes on the 29th of August; see the attached flyer for more information and the links to register and submit. Registration is free and and the meeting is fully catered.
This year SWAN 2019 will feature interstate and local invited speakers including:
- Professor Roberto Cappai (The University of Melbourne) on neurodegeneration
- Professor Sharon Naismith (The University of Sydney) on cognitive aging
- Professor Gary Housley (The University of New South Wales) on sensory neuroscience
- Ms Michelle Harris-Allsop (Care Partnerships Australia) on clinical neuroscience
Plus there is the opportunity for students and early career researchers to give oral and poster presentations.
