Guy is a second-year PhD student exploring the role of transposable elements in Motor Neurone Disease. Guy’s primary focus is on the genomic and transcriptomic impacts of transposable elements in motor neurone disease. Before his PhD, Guy graduated with a first-class degree in Microbiology from the University of Manchester. Guy then worked as a technology consultant at Ernst & Young for five years. After this, Guy completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, graduating with distinction.
