Jo Wilkie brings a wealth of experience to the the Perron Institute Board in the areas of community development, family services, social justice and human rights.
In Jo’s most recent role as Grants Manager at Lotterywest, she was responsible for grants in the areas of medical and social research, community legal services, community broadcasting, homelessness and Big Ideas. Prior to joining Lotterywest almost two decades ago Jo worked in the not-for-profit sector for 20 years including at Centrecare, the YMCA and Anglicare. During this time she was a member of a number of Ministerial Advisory Committees and Government Taskforces and was the founding Chair of the Youth Legal Service now in its 31st year. Jo brings a creative and strategic approach to the operations and governance of organisations and is a strong advocate for collaboration and cooperation to achieve maximum community benefit.
