Dr Athanasios Gaitatzis joined the Perron Institute as a Consultant Neurologist and started his Epilepsy Clinic in early 2016. In late 2017, Dr Gaitatzis started a specialist Epilepsy and Pregnancy clinic, the first of its kind in Australia. He is also a Consultant in the Neurology Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His Perron Institute Clinics are focused on the care of people with refractory (or drug-resistant) epilepsy, complex epilepsy (in people with neurodevelopmental or psychiatric comorbidities), and epilepsy in women (dealing with preconception counselling, pregnancy and breastfeeding issues).

Clinical Professor Neville Knuckey is the head of Stroke Research at the Perron Institute.

Clinical Professor Knuckey completed medicine at the University of Western Australia, then trained in Neurosurgery in Western Australia. He completed Neurosurgical Fellowships at The Johns Hopkins and Brown University in the USA.

Adam Edwards is a Postdoctoral Research Officer in the area of Stroke Research at the Perron Institute.

Dr Diego Milani is a recent PhD graduate in the area of Stroke Research at the Perron Institute, through the University of Notre Dame.

Dr-Jane-Cross

Dr Jane Cross is a Research Officer in the Stroke Research group at the Perron Institute.
Dr Cross Graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2001 and in 2011 completed her PhD through the School of Medicine and Pharmacology at The University of Western Australia.

Vince Clark is a Research Officer in the area of Stroke Research at the Perron Institute.
